Actions for Sustainability
Within itself, the DEIB offers various activities and carries out several
practices to promote a culture of sustainability.
Photovoltaic System
To improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of its facilities, DEIB has installed a system of photovoltaic panels on the façade of Building 20.
DataCloud
The DataCloud laboratory makes it possible to optimize space, effort, and energy consumption in data analysis and machine learning activities required for DEIB’s research work.
Waste Sorting
To make waste management and disposal more efficient and sustainable, DEIB has installed numerous recycling stations, evenly distributed across each of its buildings.
