DEIB proposes various activities and encourages many practices to spread the culture of sustainability also among teaching staff, researchers, technical-administrative staff and students.
Photovoltaic
System
To improve energy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of its structures, DEIB has installed a system of photovoltaic panels on the facade of Building 20.
DataCloud
The DataCloud laboratory optimizes space, efforts and consumption in data analysis and machine learning activities necessary for the DEIB research activities.
Waste
Sorting
To make waste management and disposal more efficient and sustainable, DEIB has installed many different waste sorting stations, equally distributed in each of its buildings.
Bike Station
DEIB has built a bike station to encourage the use of traditional or electric bicycles as the main means of transport to reach one's place of study or work.
